DON ELDER
ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT
Don Elder is an Organizational Development Consultant working closely with Pacific Rivers at this time. Before semi-retiring in 2021 he served as founding Executive Director of the Cahaba River Society, as State Development Director for The Nature Conservancy of Alabama, as Program Director then President of River Network, as Major Gifts Director for Western Rivers Conservancy, and as Senior Associate for Training Resources for the Environmental Community. Now, as Principal of Watershed Decisions, he provides largely virtual strategic planning, campaign planning, fundraising and board development support to conservation and environmental nonprofits. He resides in the Upper Deschutes Watershed in Central Oregon where he enjoys exploring, hiking and fishing and sweet days with his wife Michelle and their Labradoodle Dougal.
